Elena has been illustrating professionally since 2016.

While embracing a wide range of influences, from literature, to cinema, to video games, she has established a dynamic style that ranges from the more classical influences to the innovative and experimental, and can adapt well to any clients’ needs.

Elena has accumulated years of experience in collaborating with clients and helping them translate their ideas into playful and unique artworks.

So far, she has mainly worked with UK/Italy/USA-based publishers, but she has also had experience in the field of animation. 

​

In her career, Elena has most often taken the role of Illustrator and Character Designer.
She has also worked in the fields of Concept Art, Background&Environment Design, and Storyboarding&Storytelling (ask her about her stories!).

Her most trusted tool/ally is Adobe Photoshop, which she also occasionally teaches privately, but she is also proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other fine art mediums such as watercolour and brush pens. 

​

Elena’s formal education began at the ISA Art Institute "Scuola del Libro" located amongst Urbino’s green hills. There, she studied Animation, Illustration, and Design before moving to one of the most important art cities in the world, Florence, specialising in Digital Arts as an Entertainment Designer at the NEMO Academy.

• Bass and Guitar: a non-professional musician, she loves to cultivate her passion for power-chords (her neighbours love it too!)

• Joysticks: she finds a great source of inspiration in video games (and it’s the best for training manual skills!)

• Remote control: binge-watcher by night, her viewing habits span from cartoons, to dark comedies, to teenage dramas 

• Books: When she’s not illustrating them she reads them, especially tales and YA (she also dreams on creating her own illustrated book series!)

 

Her dream is to travel the world and design her imaginary place for her characters to live in.
